About Dr Hooi Hong

Dr. Hooi Wen Hong completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 2008 at the University of Adelaide, followed by internship and physician training at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. She undertook medical oncology advanced training via Royal Adelaide Hospital, Flinders Centre for Innovation in Cancer, Lyell McEwin Hospital as well as Royal Darwin Hospital in the Northern Territory. She obtained her fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2016.

She holds a position as a Medical Oncologist at Lyell McEwin Hospital and is actively involved in ongoing undergraduate university teaching, postgraduate education and clinical research. She is a member of several national and international oncology societies. She thrives for provision of comprehensive cancer care to all her patients ranging from diagnosis, treatment, surveillance and survivorship to supportive care pathways. She has particular interest in management of breast, gynaecological, lung and colorectal cancers. She consults at Calvary Central Districts Hospital.
