GenesisCare, the largest provider of radiation oncology services in South Australia and worldwide, has announced a new strategic partnership with Adelaide Oncology & Haematology. Cancer patients in South Australia will immediately benefit from easier access to integrated care with medical oncology, radiation therapy and surgical oncology in a co-ordinated patient focused care pathway.

Dear patients Due to COVID-19 pandemic, the RESTORE workshop that was scheduled to be held Saturday 15 August 2020 will no longer take place. We will keep you updated in regards to the workshop that is scheduled for Saturday 14 November 2020 as we will continue to be guided by the directives from the Australian Government. You are still able to access all our supportive care if needed and consults can be conducted by telehealth, therefore there is no need for you to come in to one of our centres if a face to face consultation is not necessary. Please contact our friendly Reception team on 8463 2500 if you would like to enquire about the supportive services we have available and/or information on our telehealth consults. Adelaide Oncology & Haematology now consulting in the Adelaide Hills

Adelaide Oncology & Haematology have commenced consulting at the Summit Health Centre in Mount Barker. Dr Vineet Kwatra (Medical Oncologist), A/Prof Ian Lewis (Haematologist) and A/Prof Nick Brook (Urologist) consult fortnightly at Summit Health Centre. We are pleased to be able to provide these much needed health care services to the Adelaide Hills Community.

AOAH supports National Bandana Day

The team at AOAH have shown their support for CanTeen's largest fundraiser by purchasing and wearing their colourful bandannas. CanTeen aims to raise $1.3 million this year to support young people living with cancer and we want to say thank you to everyone that purchased one of our Bandannas to help CanTeen to help all those that have to deal with the challenge of cancer.

Farewell Dr Tabitha Healey

Cheers to 15 years! On Friday 29th September we farewelled Dr Healey as she retired from her work as a Medical Oncologist. Dr Healey has made a significant contribution to her patients and to Adelaide Oncology & Haematology and she will be greatly missed by all. We wish Dr Healey well as she enters the next phase of her life!

Adelaide Oncology & Haematology announces commencement of South Australia's first "Private Cancer Genetics Clinic"

We are excited to announce the commencement of the Adelaide Oncology & Haematology “Cancer Genetics Clinic” at St Andrew’s Medical Centre and Calvary Central Districts Hospital. Dr Jacqui Adams will provide assessment of inherited cancer risk, genetic counselling and, if appropriate, genetic testing as well as personalised screening advice and cancer risk management planning.
